Brandon Krout, MD is a resident physician in the Georgia South Psychiatry Residency Program at Colquitt Regional Health System. Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Dr. Krout earned his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Brigham Young University–Hawaii and completed medical school at St. Martinus University Faculty of Medicine. He was drawn to Georgia South for its welcoming culture, strong leadership, and commitment to psychiatry, and he values the program’s balance of hands-on experience, faculty mentorship, and resident autonomy. Dr. Krout enjoys the collaborative learning environment and the opportunity to care for a diverse range of patients while training in a close-knit community.
